Downloaded Office 2010 Trial having problems with error mess (cannot locate file) therefore does not open the selected excel worksheet. Only takes me to main excel page.

I did try the "Fix It" and that did not help.
What else can I try?

If related to all Excel files, try the following:
 
1.    Open Excel
2.    Click on File > Options
3.    Advanced > General tab
4.    Uncheck Ignore other applications that use the Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) if checked
5.    Click ok

• In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
• On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
• Reboot your computer.
