Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully.
For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it.
Then, you can restore the registry if a

A) You may try the suggestion given in the link

i. Open the Registry Editor by clicking the Start button, typing regedit into the Search box, and then pressing ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
ii. Navigate to the registry location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL\Server\MSSQL.1\Setup\Resume.
iii. If set to 1, change to 0.
iv. Close the registry editor
v. Check if the issue persists.
If yes, do the method B.
B) If the above step does not work try downloading and installing it manually.

Boot in Safe Mode:

• Open Run command as previously described
• Type MSConfig
• Click on Boot tab
• Tick Safe boot in Boot option
• Select Network
• Click Apply and OK
• Reboot your system

Your system will boot in Safe mode with Networking. You may now try and open Windows Store and should not see any errors.
