Backup and Restore not recognizing Disk Image

When running A system Repair Disk, the Recovry Options does not recognize the Image on DVD-ROM Disk 1. It is as if the Disk was not closed. When Disk two is ejected during the backup procedure Windows closes it. Why doesn't it close Disk 1?
Am I missing something simple here?

Running System Update Readiness Command
