AverageIF function to include any numbers more than 0, so long as a different column has a certain value in it
Hi,
I am looking to conduct an averageif formula that averages all the numbers in a column (A1:a100), so long as they are more than 0.
The second part to this question is that I only want it to add up the averages if the field in a different column (b1:b100)
states 'Sales'
Therefore I can have 3 averages being worked out
i.e.
Sales - 25
Finance - 15
HR - 20
Is anyone able to recommend a formula that will enable me to do this?

Try this for Sales in Col B
=AVERAGEIFS(A1:A100,A1:A100,">0",B1:B100,"Sales")
And for the other averages change Sales to the appropriate criteria.
In this method we will try to Boot in Safe mode with Networking and see if the error still persists.
- Search "MSCONFIG" and Open.
- Click on Boot Tab
- Tick Safe Boot in Boot Option
- Select Network.
- Click Apply and OK.
- Reboot your System.
