Attempting to reset laptop to factory conditions, getting error message during setup
I am currently attempting to reset my fiancée's computer to factory conditions after an error in Windows caused it to stop booting correctly or fully.
I've backed up her documents already by booting the computer in a trial version of Ubuntu and I am now
attempting to reset the computer to its factory conditions through the computer's settings.
I don't have an install disk and keep getting an error "Windows could not complete the installation.
To install Windows on theis compuiter, restart the installation."
At current time the computer is stuck at the screen saying "Setup is starting services" and has not moved for the last 10 minutes or so but just as the moving lens flare at the bottom.
Any help to correct this and re-install windows on the machine would be
greatly appreciated.

Machine Throttling- Click the Start button.
- In the Search box, type "regedit" (without quotes) and press Enter.
- Look for the following registry key: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions".
- On the right window pane, delete the subkey: "Machine Throttling".
- Reboot your system.
